Mondays Recap

by Deana

McGrady’s all dressed up. His dad is coming today. He asks Michael if he looks okay.

Michael heads to the fence to meet with Lincoln. Lincoln says that LJ is alive. He has three days. Michael doesn’t seem to care… Lincoln tells Michael that there were three body bags at the drop-off point - that they wouldn’t have gotten out of there alive. Michael tells Lincoln that he cares about LJ and would do anything for him, but obviously Lincoln thinks Michael only cares about himself. “You used me Linc, so I guess you and the company have something in common.” Michael walks away.

Susan B. is on the phone. She says she can’t find him. Never mind, she found him. It’s Pad Man. “It’s time to clean this up. We’re ending this today. Bang and Burn.” Susan looks taken back. She says it’s next to impossible for this time frame. He says maybe he hired the wrong person. She responds with telling him to “seriously reconsider.” His guys attack her, push her down to the bed. Further threats follow.

Everyone Knows About Bang and Burn!

Susan B. talks to Whistler, telling him that they’re going with the “Bang and Burn”. “That’s suicide,” he says. “I might get killed if we do this.” Susan B. says that she might get killed if they don’t. “Be ready by 5:00,” she tells him. “What about Scofield?” he asks. “Kill him,” she replies.

Whistler’s in the courtyard, not looking so good. Lechero approaches Michael. Michael asks Lechero to speak with the Colonel about halting the guards working on the windows… Sammy walks up and tells Lechero that some of the people are acting out. They’re losing Sona.

Susan B. unrolls some plans and bosses people around.

Whistler’s Double Life

Sofia reads the front page of the newspaper, which talks about an attempted escape. The phone rings. Someone is looking for Whistler. “I am his wife,” she says. It’s Tommy Day, the landlord of the apartment that James Whistler rents from. When Sofia responds telling him that he must be mistaken he says, “Oh I assure you, Mr. Whistler is my tenant.” He says that some mail has been coming to the apartment and gives her the address. Someone is listening in. He calls Susan B. with the info.

Whistler reads the bird book. There are notes in the margin. “Mahone, Special Ops, Company? Drugs? Familiy +” Whistler burns the page.

Michael walks in and tells Whistler that the Company is giving them four more days. Whistler looks down on the floor and Michael asks him if he has anything on his mind, like visitation maybe? “What you’re a spy now?” Whistler asks. He says that she’s Company and that she approached him after the failed escape. Whistler meets with another guy in the prison and accepts a wrapped package. “You never met me,” he says before walking away.

Mahone Melts Down

In the hotel room Mahone talks about Shale to Agent Lang. He says after catching Shale, he couldn’t hand him over to a scumbag lawyer who would get him off. So he killed him. And it felt good. But then the visions came of Shale begging for his life. Mahone couldn’t get rid of them so he started taking drugs to keep on even keel. But at Sona he had to improvise. He says he can’t testify like this…

The guards continue soldering the windows. T-Bag approaches Michael with a note. It’s a sketch of Lechero’s quarters. There’s a note at the top. 4:00. 4413. Whistler unwraps his package. It’s a knife.

Sofia walks into the apartment. Tommy Day leaves her alone as he goes to get Whistler’s insurance papers. Sofia sits on the bed and looks around. She starts going through the drawers, empties envelopes.

Whistler Threatens…

Michael follows the plans and notices there’s a door in the quarters. It’s locked with a keycode. He unlocks it and they walk down the hallway. Whistler starts playing with the knife behind his back. He flashbacks to Susan B. telling him to kill Michael. Whistler says, “I’m truly sorry you got caught up in my troubles Michael.”

Just as Whistler pulls the knife they hear a noise in the hallway. “Scofield,” Lechero says as he walks in. He enters in another code and they walk further into the underground tunnels. The guards filled it in. Lechero thinks they can dig out. Michael says they can’t dig out, but they can maybe dig up.

Sofia finds an ID of Whistler with another name. Susan B. walks in. “Hello Sofia,” she says before saying taht she’s an old friend. She shoves Sofia up against the wall. “I can see why James loves you. You’re very beautiful.” Then she says to stop sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong or James will start missing her. She says that Sofia should go home, paint her nails, and get ready for James to come home so they can live happily ever after. “You are truly beautiful,” Susan B. says, runnign her hands through her hair. “I hope you can stay that way … Now get out of here.” Sofia leaves and Susan B. goes through the apartment.

Michael thinks they can either dig up or get buried alive. As they begin walking out Sammy heads into the tunnels. Lechero argues with him and leads him back up the stairs. Michael and Whistler hide to the side. They then sneak back into the tunnels without Lechero knowing. Whistler stashes the knife.

Mahone asks for Agent Lang but she is gone. The other agent tells Mahone that they need to go. Mahone wants to wait but the agent says to throw some water on his face.

Whistler starts sweating and has the shakes. Michael asks if he is okay but Whistler says he is claustrophobic and needs some air. Whistler says he needs to get out. Michael asks what is really going on and why does Whistler keep looking at his watch?

Lincoln and Sucre get the keys to a shack. They take a walk through the woods. Lincoln shoots a gun and Sucre records the sound.

Visitations

Michael approaches McGrady and asks for help. McGrady says that his father just arrived. Michael says that he needs his dad to make a phone call to someone on the outside. McGrady says that he won’t do it - he won’t put his father in jeopardy. Michael begs him and says that if he doesn’t do it, something bad will happen to his father. McGrady’s father says he looks good, that he should be in school. McGrady tells his father that his new American friends needs some help…

As they are talking Sofia walks up to the fence. Whistler steps up and says he’s glad she is there. He tells Sofia that she may not be safe. “Promise me you won’t be anywhere around Lincoln Burrows today,” Whistler says. He tells her to go home and stay there, that he’ll call her tonight. “Call me?” she asks. Whistler asks her repeatedly if she understands and asks her to promise him. She promises. “I love you, more than anything in the world,” Whistler says. “Do you?” Sofia says. She tells him about the landlord calling and asks if she should return his phone call. “Must be the wrong number,” Whistler says. He tells her again to stay away from Lincoln and she walks away.

Attacked
McGrady’s father calls Lincoln and says he has a message. “Don’t come home for dinner.” Lincoln hangs up and tells Sucre it’s a code from Michael. Sofia approaches Lincoln and Sucre. One of the goons is watching them and calls Susan B. She tells him to take them all out, that she warned Sofia.

Sofia tells Lincoln that she doesn’t know what’s going on and that Whistler told her to stay away. Lincoln calls Lechero’s cell phone. Sammy picks up. Lincoln asks to speak to Michael. Sammy hangs up. He turns to Lechero. Lechero says it’s his business.

Some of Sofia’s guys follow Lincoln, Sucre, and Sofia. Sucre and Linc overwhelm two of them but one guy holds Sofia around the neck. Lincoln shoots him right through the head. Ouch!

At the hearing Mahone keeps itching his wrist. The investigation begins and starts talking about the Company. He says that he was told to kill them all. He begins rambling and sounds slightly insane. He says he did what he did to protect his family and that he wants to go home.

T-Bag finds Michael and drags him off to see Lechero. “If your brother should ever call my cell phone again, tell him you’re the one who is going to pay,” he says before handing Michael the phone. Lincoln tells him that they just got attacked and that Sofia was warned not to be around them. “They don’t need us anymore, they’re breaking him out on their own,” Michael says with panic in his eyes.

Mission Aborted

A helicopter flies over the prison. Whistler climbs out on the room and begins waving his arms. Guards begin driving up and the helicopter begins firing. Michael climbs out on the room after him and the two begin fighting. Several guards are gunned down as the helicopter lowers a rope. Whistler grabs on and Michael grabs Whistler around the waist. They dangle over the courtyard. The guards shoot one of the men in the helicopter and he falls to the ground. They lose Whistler. “Abort, abort.” Whistler drops into the hallway and removes his shirt. Michael climbs down as well. Men are running everywhere. Michael changes his shirt. A guard grabs him by the shoulder and drags him to the courtyard.

Susan B. sits in her hotel room as the phone rings. She ignores it and takes a sip of her drink.

Mahone sits in the hallway. Agent Lang sits down beside him. “I’m so sorry, I’m going to have to take you back to Sona,” she says.

Michael is told to get up. The Colonel tells him that he is causing too many problems in Sona, so maybe he shouldn’t be there. “Say good-bye to Sona Mr. Scofield,” he says and leads Michael away.
